Singing Harps - Dublin, update

A wonderful night at Woodford House, Sat. Nov. 7th Singer harpists, Claire Roche and Madeleine Doherty, served a wonderful concert to open Woodford Sanctuary, though it seems the marketing name will now be Woodford House Woodford Sanctuary, or House is a wonderful arts and healing centre conceived by Claire Roche from converted stables where she ran a livery service 30 years ago. 74 people came along, I was hoping for 100 and Claire was targeting for 50 people, The discovery now is 75 people is the maximum that Claire’s venue can comfortably accommodate. Catering, which I did, was a dream in the Woodford kitchen and dining area. Madeleine opened with about 20 minutes of tunes and songs followed by Claire performing 20 minutes songs accompanied by harp After a short chips, dip and beverage break Claire returned to perform some songs accompanies by piano and Madeleine rounded off the the evening concert with some more tunes, including a beautiful arrangement of “Somewhere Over The Rainbo...
